Overview
Enviro Testers laboratory oil petroleum colorimeter lab Colourimeter liquid colour test grades and compares petroleum oils and waxes according to ASTM D1500 specifications. The ASTM colour of petroleum products applies to products having an ASTM colour of 0.5 or darker, including lubricating oils, heating oils and diesel fuel oils. During the usage of the measuring instrument, the sample of petroleum is injected to the Colorimetric tube. Then the chromaticity and the colour number are determined after the sample is compared with the standard colour sheet.
